Things have defiantly gotten quite a bit busier in my life. I have picked a course at Memorial University; I have been accepted to start Intro to Accounting through Algonquin (starting January 24), working 7 days a week, Christmas shopping, and goals. I barely have time for myself, and the little time I do have I have been putting into shopping online for Christmas gifts. I am finished shopping for Thomas, and I think I have his family covered as well, now to work on my family. I have something for Brooke, but that is it! Girls are a WHOLE lot easier to shop for then guys.
Now, to touch base with my running/workout goals; I ran 3.0 miles on Thursday. I think I could have actually run farther but I stopped myself at 3 because I wanted to end on a good note and not hurt myself. It felt so good when I saw 2.9 since that was my goal. I did it a bit slower then I had planned but the length of time isn’t what matters (50 minutes) to me right now, the length I run is what matters. I give myself a silver star for that run. Now, for the workout goal (100 crunches, twice per week) that I didn’t complete, and I have some lame excuse for…. I will have to do my normal goal this week, plus last week’s goal, then a workout DVD. That will be my punishment! I should have more punishment since I have gone way overboard with treating myself. Everyone slips up though; I’m just picking myself up, dusting myself off and trying again this week.
I just tried to drink my green tea and nearly threw up. I have been trying to drink this horrible brand for a while now but always end up dumping ¼ of the cup out. My favorite is STASH but it isn’t in Iqaluit and I always pick it up when I am home but my mind was in other places during my last trip out.
