I’m starting off with goals that I need to get a move on with.
- Body By Vi – I had a solid week starting November 28 - December 2 but when the weekend hit I blew it. I started again Monday and I am doing great so far.
- Weigh 190 lbs at most – This morning I weighed myself and I am 193.4 lbs. It is up and down from 191 to 194 since I go treat crazy on the weekends. I have to learn to have WILLPOWER
- Run 5 miles – Last week I ran 3.5 miles on Thursday! I am sticking to my weekly goals and I am right on schedule with this one
- 100 Crunches, twice a week – This is now switched to 200 seconds of planking per week. I read that crunches are very bad for your back which explains my back pain lately. I am also doing terrible keeping to this goal...
- Snail mail to Wayne – DONE
- Read 2 novels – I am halfway through 1 already
- Snail mail to a friend – I haven’t started this one yet. But I have sent a few Christmas cards out to close friends.
- Learn to French Braid – I attempted it and I kind of figured it out. Not nice enough though to wear to work yet
- 15 P90x workouts – I think I have 1 under my belt so far. Not great
- Style my hair 5 times – I haven’t tried this one. I actually forgot about this, and will try to straighten my hair tomorrow morning for work.
Well there are 10 of my goals to obtain by December 31st at midnight. Some I have a good start on but I am not ahead in any, which I plan to work on tonight. Every day I create a mini checklist that I can take home with me to scratch off as I finish them. It gives me a feeling of satisfaction that I didn’t get before when I just did them. It makes simple tasks a little more fun!
